Returns and Backorders

The last thing we hope you’ll have to do is return a product or find that your order is not complete. Mistakes happen, but we assure you that we will do everything we can to correct the issue promptly.

Returns

Please thoroughly inspect your order upon receipt. If you need to return a product, we require that you contact us within 45 days of the date of shipment. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for any reason beyond this time period.

To return an item, please contact us through our Contact page and choose Request a Return from the Areas of Interest section of the Contact Form. In order to process a return, our Customer Service Team must assign a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA #) to your Return Request. We cannot accept returns that do not have an assigned RMA #. Please provide order information when you contact us.

When you return a product, please ensure that the RMA # is clearly marked on the shipping label in order to help expedite processing of your return. Please repack your returned item(s) in the original packaging and in a similar manner to how it was received. You will be held liable for any items broken or missing due to improper packaging.

If you believe the product to be defective, Scovill Fasteners will inspect your product order. If we find that the product is in fact defective, we will send you new products with free delivery in exchange for the original order.

Backorders

Please thoroughly inspect your order upon receipt. If you determine that your order is incomplete, we require that you contact us within 30 days of the date of shipment. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate order issues related to unreported backorders for any reason beyond this time period.

If there is a backorder situation, we will typically ship the items that are in stock as soon as possible. When the backordered items are available, they will be shipped separately and you will not be charged any additional delivery.
