Returns and Backorders

The last thing we hope you'll have to do is return a product or find that your order is not complete. Mistakes happen, but we assure you that we will do everything we can to correct the issue promptly.

Order Cancellation

Since orders are usually processed and shipped within 1 day, it is imperative that if you need to change or cancel your order, you do it right away. We cannot except changes or cancellations thru email. You must call us at 877-4DOTDOT (1-877-436-8368). Dot Fasteners is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm EST.

Cancellation of shipped items will incur a 25% restocking fee as well as actual freight charges above and beyond what was charged. We do not accept returns under $10.00. For orders under $10.00, store credit will be issued.


Please thoroughly inspect your order upon receipt. If you need to return a product, we require that you contact us within 30 days of the date of shipment. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for any reason beyond this time period.

Please call us during our normal business hours to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA #).

When you return a product, please ensure that the RMA # is clearly marked on the shipping label in order to help expedite processing of your return. Please repack your returned item(s) in the original packaging and in a similar manner to how it was received. You will be held liable for any items broken or missing due to improper packaging.

Refunds will be completed, in 10-15 Business days.

If you believe the product to be defective, Dot Fasteners will inspect your product order. If we find that the product is in fact defective, we will send you new products with free delivery in exchange for the original order.

Inaccurate Orders

Please thoroughly inspect your order upon receipt. Dot Fasteners makes every effort to check all orders for accuracy before shipment. If you find that your order is inaccurate, you must contact us within 10 days of receipt. We will do our best to investigate your claim and provide you with the correct product.

If there is a backorder situation, we will typically ship the items that are in stock as soon as possible. When the backordered items are available, they will be shipped separately and you will not be charged any additional delivery.
